Bowling and St. Patrick's Day cupcake decorating!
Carla H., Tim Q., Kathleen R., and Dan Z., went to Midway Pro Bowl and
bowled the afternoon away Thursday. It was great to get out of the house and bowl a few frames!
Midway Pro Bowl offered "bumper bowling" and ramps so all abilities could join in the fun! Thank
you Midway Pro Bowl!
St. Patrick's Day morning we gathered in the dinning room and decorated our festive cupcakes that
we would later enjoy with our lunch consisting of Irish Corned Beef and Cabbage, Pot of
gold carrots, and O'Grady biscuits! Green necklaces, Irish music and glitter tattoos were adorned by
many on St. Patrick's Day. The pub was open! Green fake beer, Leprechaun fizz, peanuts in a shell,
and pretzels, and coffee with Irish cream. Those attending this festivity were Steve, Pat D., Joan,
Rick, Carla, Peg, Dan J., Marilyn, Rose L., Lucy, Patty M., Wanda, Tim (he was our bartender), Mike and his friend Tom, Kathleen, Johanna and
Cheryl.

Five Jaycees provided a wonderful Valentine's Day celebration for Amy Johnson Residence
After warm welcomes we began our gathering with decorating hearts using cute foam stickers. We also enjoyed several different kinds of Bingo (regular, blackout, and four corners). We used chocolate Kisses for our markers all the while snacking on them as we played! There were wonderful Bingo prizes won- word search and crossword books. Our game time was followed by cupcake decorating, we used frosting, sprinkles, and even sparkly sprinkles! We later enjoyed the pleasure of hearing the volunteer's son, Luke, play piano. He's only been playing since the fall and is 6 years old! We sang love songs and chatted about the fun we've had with previous visits from our friends, the Jaycees, and discussed things we'd love to do with them in the future. Those that joined in the festivities were: Diana, Brian, Dan Z., Johanna, Luanne, Lucy, Marilyn, Wanda, Lee, Peg, Pat D., Patty, Katherine, Carla, Kathleen, Steve, Rose S., Sam, and Tim. We're all looking forward to the Jaycees visiting again!
Thank you for the fun party, Jaycees!
